Manufacturing 2018M-Line Monitor Arms -&nbsp;Humanscale After ten successful&nbsp;years in the market the Humanscale Monitor Arm Line was due for an update. ONDA-ID was tasked&nbsp;with aiding the internal Humanscale Design Team in developing a strategy for the the re-design.Based on internal Humanscale research, initial concepts and studies of other product re-designs, it was established that the aesthetics should maintain cues from the original design while taking current workspace trends into account. Additionally, we focused on expanding on the success of the previous generation by simplifying the line and adding new functionality. With a clear strategy in place, ONDA-ID supported the Humanscale Design and Engineering teams in the execution of the project. We had the choice to make a light intervention or completely redesign the line. -&nbsp;Teknion The Tangent fixture is part of Teknions' Compliments line. It was designed to provide basic task light functionality in temporary desks, like those found in co-working spaces and hot desking offices. ONDA worked with Teknion and it's subsidiaries to develop the aesthetics and functionality around an existing driver. As part of the Vim &amp; Vigor team, ONDA's Lead Designer Fabian Monsalve aided in the creation of renderings and presentations that would win Oru a spot at the ICFF Studio Award in 2012. Their approach highlighted the need for bike fixtures to be ubiquitous as users do not discriminate between official bike racks and happenstance objects. Proximity and visibility are key factors. Under the name Verde, Fabian and Mesve conducted research into usability issues of current bike racks in New York and other cities.
